Pea soup

The countryside was enveloped in more of porridge coloured fog than a pea soup one last weekend. Pea soup is an old English term used for the thick yellow fog that covered many large cities before the burning of soft coal was banned in 1956. One of the things I love to do in London (something I miss in Paris) is to take a walk through Hyde Park and wander over to the Serpentine Gallery (my favourite Gallery in London).
